Nothing between you and your inbox
The app and the Fluxmail engine run together on your Mac and talk to your provider directly. If you already use the Fluxmail CLI or MCP server, Desktop opens with the same accounts, so you can read mail yourself and hand the rest to your agents.

Questions
How much does it cost?
The app is free and open source under the Mozilla Public License 2.0. A paid Fluxmail license raises the mailbox limit and turns on the private image relay. See pricing.
How do I connect Outlook or IMAP accounts?
You can add Gmail accounts inside the app. Connect Outlook and IMAP accounts with the Fluxmail CLI and show up in Desktop right away, since both use the same account store. See the guides for Outlook and IMAP.
Can Fluxmail read my email?
No. The app talks to your provider from your Mac, and messages and credentials never pass through Fluxmail’s servers. Fluxmail only receives license checks, anonymous usage events if you leave them on, and image requests when you use the private relay.
How do I install it?
Download the Apple silicon or Intel disk image from the latest GitHub release and drag Fluxmail into Applications. Releases aren’t notarized by Apple yet, so the first time you open the app, go to System Settings, then Privacy & Security, and click Open Anyway.
Is there a Windows or Linux version?
Not yet. Fluxmail Desktop runs on macOS 13 or later.
Does the app collect analytics?
Release builds send anonymous product and performance events. They never include email content, addresses, or search terms. You can turn them off in Settings under Privacy.
