OpenAI says a connected Google app may create an indexed copy and synchronize content to improve retrieval. It also says the indexed copy is deleted within thirty days after the app is disconnected. Workspace controls, plan terms, and training policies still depend on the ChatGPT account.
Fluxmail is self-hosted, so you choose where the connector runs and who can access it. Provider credentials and operational data stay on infrastructure you control, and Fluxmail does not copy your email content to a service it operates. Your MCP client may still send retrieved email to its model provider, including ChatGPT, so that provider's data policies still apply.
